OK, this cartoon is old and silly. Everyone knows (today) that a smartphone is essential. But did we five years ago? Some did and some held on to their landline “just in case.”

However, we still suffer from slow decision making. For example, at the end of July Amazon bought the primary healthcare company One Medical while CVS was still figuring out what to do after months of negotiations.

Think of it! Amazon is NOT a medical industry player (or are they?) CVS IS a medical industry player. What the heck took them so long to buy an organization they need and want?

There are eight enduring skills you should master. And many corporate audiences have told me that their organization takes too long to make a decision.
